Has anybody fitted the steel pivot ball “upgrade”

 

ive got the builders kit and thought I’d get the steel pivot balls to put in while building, I wasn’t sure how many packets I’d need so only had enough to do the rear with them, 
so I’ve noticed there’s noticeable play in the rear suspension compared to the front, which has no play

baring in mind I haven’t used the car yet 😊

anybody else noticed this?

Well I finally had a little test in the garden today for 5 minutes with the element.

 

its running a HW1080 esc and a cheap goolRC 35t motor, I’m really impressed with how smooth the car is, 

the shocks feel great (shame about the play in the pivot balls🙄)

looking forward to seeing what it’s like compared to my sons scx10ii, we’ve got constant banter at the moment about who’s will be best ha ha

although it will not be used properly for a while because I have no body or bumpers yet 😒
