Battery charger

Would this battery charger damage my batteries charging them so quickly??

Or would they be fine???

u'd have to have specialist batteries really that can take such a high amp charge...

ur standard batteries like Gp i would of thought would kill there life span really quickly...

uniross15minlcdchargerproductinform.jpg

It doesn't say 15 mins for all the batteries.

But i don't need it to charge my 2700mah vapex batteries in 15 minutes just quickly.

so if i charged my 2700mah in 1hr would it damage them or not???

think we have had a Similar thread about this if you charge them at them rates chances are your battery's will not as long as you would of wanted them, if your using them for a Transmitter just buy a charging jack and charge them in you transmitter.

For you servos to work properly you will need a fast charger like that. If your using them in a receiver pack because 4 recharagable batterys will not make 6 volts if slow charged.

When they say it will shorten the life of your battery they mean you will need to replace them after about 1 year.

i was going to get it more for my camera and stuff like that not really for rc although i may use them in my transmitter.

the reason i want that charger really is because it tells you how long each individual battery has got to charge and you know when they are charged.

If you know of a charger with that function please tell me

Theres nothing wrong with that charger. Like i said when people say it will shorten the life of your batterys they mean they will only last you about a 1 year

Thats a uniross that only came out last year it's kind of new it cost £50 when it first came out i was looking at one for exactly the same reason. So i could see how long the batterys had left to charge.

I don't think you will find many with that system, i didn't. Uniross are pretty much the biggest brand name in recharagable batterys. And that system is a bargin for £15.

it doesnt matter if its fast or trickle charged, 4 rechargable AA's dont make 6 volt anyway! there 1.2 per cell!!! so you will need 5

If they are charged faster they make more volts than if they are charged slower.

they dont, end of

the voltage of a pack stays roughly the same in charging, trickle or fast. trickle charging is just better for cells over a long period

i don't even really want it for my rc cars it's more for my digital camera

i saw it in argos for £40 and i thought it were really good because of the reasons mugen racer said

and then i found it on ebay bargain!!

well if this guy thinks higher the Volts in a pack means longer runtime and 4 AA batterys charged at a higher amp will make more then 6volts this guy is just giving Duff/Wrong information am not going even going stand my ground but just look at the last topic that got locked.

i will put my hands up to you if you can show us and the rest of the forum the proof of your theory behide the 4 AA battery's and the Higher the Volt sketch that was in the last topic...

until then to tell you the truth this guy is giving wrong information (until proven) go buy what someone else might tell you

i agree charging at a higher amp rate will not give 4 AA batteries 6v

I aint even using them in a receiver pack so i don't know where he got that from
