Radio control using a computer.

Recommended Posts

I wanted to know if you could transmit radio signals from a computer to the desired device (most likely an RC plane). I would like this to be programmable if possible as I would be using my Mac and a Raspberry Pi to do so.

Also, where would I buy my servos, motors, batteries and props from? I think the model will be about a kg or around that number.

The plane would be about 1kg and it could go at a decent speed, handled using a Raspberry Pi Zero W (in other words an onboard computer with electronic pins for surface and motor control).

The computer is absolutely necessary as it can be used for some experimental tasks I had in mind. It would have control to a transmitter and receiver that can work on different frequencies, I would prefer it to be accessed by the pins onboard. To make things more succinct, I need a receiver and transmitter that can be controlled by pins/wires.

Thanks!
