JonnySpeedbump Posted August 27, 2019 Share Posted August 27, 2019 Greetings! I recently dug out my old Lazer ZX and would really like to get it running again. The only problem being that I need a few bits and can't find a decent supplier for this model. Any old Kyosho fans out there know of a good place to source parts? Tried the usual Ebay but finding little for the old Lazer there. I was even prepared to buy another car as a donor but, surprisingly, not a classic Lazer in sight. Are these cars quite rare or sought after? The bits i need are a pair of front C-hubs as one has snapped and the other looks like it's heading the same way. Also require the front alloy steering hubs as both lower kingpins have snapped off inside them and it looks way too small to try drilling and tapping them out. Also a set of kingpins for the aforementioned reason. It may be possible to adapt the above parts from a Lazer 6 or 7 to fit as they look similar and parts are more readily available. Any Lazer 6 or 7 owners out there who could send me some close up pics of the front hub assembly please? Seems such a shame for this old classic to continue to collect dust for another 30 years so any help would be hugely appreciated. Cheers!
