I didn't realise I brought the wrong kit but I'm hoping I can just make new tubes and tap them for m3. The rod ends are male.

Can somebody advise on the best action. I think i can still use it all except the tubes being too short.

Here's some tube i found but idk what diameter is needed for m3. Is it still 3mm?

Thanks.

Look at the pic in the second link, it shows 4 matching holes near on 1” further back, refit it all there and bingo, you have a lwb, also available are some little plates that sit on both short and lwb mounting holes creating a medium wb too.

hope that helps :good:

Thanks mate that's perfect i wread around first too lol. But got the impression longer links are needed but this is much better to keep the pro finish. Ill give it a try tonight. They should just supply instructions lol. Or a link atleast lol.

To thread tube for m3 screws what ID would i need? Is it 3mm the threads bite into the walls. Or is it a larger inside diameter. As ide like to try make some links some time.

I had to make steering links once lol. M3 threaded rod to rod ends it worked but looked bad lol. Tubes are the way.

Thanks mate i wish i saw that even an hour ago lol. The screws didnt fit anywhere hardly i had to use a mix of inc screws mine and std ones. The longest screws they include i used to go through the axle into small link and then a m3 nut spacer then the lock nut. It is nice and smooth now though. Im glad to see you used cap head there too. The guides shown button head there. Axle to short link screw.

With the shocks in more upright it was binding slightly and horrid shock action. Even now its smooth but it seems low so the rear shock lift might be next.

There's a trippy contraption swing arm rear suspension? That extends the travel but i don't like how its free until the shocks come in. So idk about that mod. Or just fixed  brackets or just longer shocks. I took the rubber o rings out already too.

Im really happy to have it back togeher its been weeks sitting in small pots.

Heres some pics. I think i got it as good as it goes lol. I had to crack the long links loose too so they was angled right but dont think it matters. I could redo the ends though.

Body needs raising too. The front posts both popped the screws so i just used longer machine screws i have nothing else. Not sure if it will last lol.
