jpbp200 Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 I was wondering if anyone would care to recommend the best Castle replacement for the Traxxas MXL-6s? I am looking at the Castle as I already have the Castle Link for the MXL and it would be a shame to abandon it. The Mamba X looks to be suitable but can anyone advise? Unfortunately Castle products are not very water resistant. Ive switched all mine to the Hobbywing Max range. The Max 5 and 6 are probably a bit 'big' for a Revo. The Max 8 would be fine. I get the idea of over speccing, but a Max 8 will be more than fine in a revo on 6s. WELL SPOTTED GUNS. If you have a REVO, ignore my comments. I've got X-Maxx and VXL-6 on the brain - what's left. Max-8 is fine. Any Hobbywing 150A ESC should do. Sorry for my confusion !!
