Its a shame you proved my point on castle escs lol. its crap they arent sorting it out. that esc should have easily powerd this surly.

I know alot of MMM fails are user fails ignoring the max weight recommendation which just covers savage flux so add weight to a savage flux mmm and the esc isnt enough.

Honbywing all the way man.

I really want the means to compare motors im sure castle are the best but i want to see how much or if they actually are. Leppard motors use the best neo magnets so im really intrested to see a leappard vs castle vs hobbywing.

But dont know how to go about it. ide send my 2700kv to compare against a castle 2650 but not sure it'll be fair with my motor being shorter 4065 sized. But would still be intrested to see the results.

Its not that they havent sorted it out. They may well sort it for me. Ive not even spoke to them, Id pay for a repair in the UK if it was possible but Im not shipping it back, emailing Tower ETC. The motor was the real gem of the combo.

Id honestly stick a £26 Black Can against ANY 1:8th motor regardless of price lol, they are that good.

There good but the black cans have limits there only rated upto 5s not 6s like other 1/8 motors in the 2000kv range well that's if you mean these ?

More upgrades, still not used it haha. Blue wheelie wheels, taller gearing, STRC hexes and Hingepin kit. RPM gear cover and the rest of the screws to convert to hex:

Every screw will be hex, even the servo ones :)

The STRC hingepin kit is a typical forum buy. Everyone rates it online as a must have, not to sure why it is considered so necessary, the stock screws were fine? Suppose it would eliminate e clips on a VXL model?
