Slightly off topic but I saw somewhere once about a Kraken Baja.

A RTR Baja with the Kraken cage/body already on it,did that ever happen?

yeah there was 2 types wasn't there....well 2x diff bodys on a baj....

Since Ripmax announced the buy out, everything 'hpi' has gone quiet.

 

You can, of course, buy the Kraken conversion kits....not cheap mind!

Word on the street is that Kraken sold the rights and tooling for the cages to HPI so they could concentrate on the Vekta, much like when Tekno stopped making parts for other brands of RC's when they brought out their own range of models
