macpaddy Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi guys, so yesterday I managed to drive through the only puddle on my bash site with my stampede 4x4 running a mamba monster 2 . Not a problem I hear you say they are waterproof! Yes they are but I had the cooling fan still on She stopped running but still had power to the steering sevo but none to the motor . I dried it out over night Just plugged it in and had a bit of smoke Out the esc so unplugged it sharpish . Think I already know the answer but do you think I killed it ? Noj Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 MM2's have been known to fail for no apparent reason. Look at a Hobbywing Quicrun WP 150a as a replacement.
