finally got round to ordering up the motor a couple of weeks ago and got home today to find a parcel on the kitchen side :) Opened it up to find my nice new Wraith 7k and Quark 33a esc :) . now just to solder it up lol, this could get messy  because i haven't got a clue what im doing so any tips would go down brilliantly lol. oh and i have had to buy new wheels and tyres as well after the alloy ones bent out of shape on their first outing lol, plus there's the new reciever i got off monstrous in there

Heres some pics my Mate Russ got before i had the Motor

Not seen this thread before,

is this right?

£55 for a "copy" mini inferno and you can hop it up with genuine parts?

Seems too good to be true when there £129 at modelsport. Whats the catch??

BTW

Looks good Mel, in fact its making me want one...

no catch lol, i knew i was going to hop it up so i thought what is the point in spending all that money if im gonna replace everything lol. i think someone told me that the steering servo on the proper mini inferno was either soldered straight to the esc or for some reason didn't fit in a normal receiver but this one was fine just plugged straight in :)

Would it be too much to ask if you could pop a video on the forum when its finished?

£55 is easy to hide from the wife and the hop ups can come in dribs and draps!!

Sounds like a plan.. *Evil Grin*

hi mel, i see you got the wraith bl motor, what is it like have you got round to using it ? im looking for a new brushless motor for my mini inferno and was looking at the wraith , what sort of speed do you think your getting from it? also what battery are you using with it ? i got a intellect 1400 9.6 batt

also are you going to be getting a new rear wing and mount ? if so fancy selling your standered one if its the same as a mini infernos one ?

your nano looks pretty darn good, you think it might be a bit heavier then before ? i.e all the ally parts?

First of all thanks mate :) Haven't got round to using it yet because im a complete novice at leccy rc's so im still setting it up (That's why i left the Motor and esc till last lol) but Sean reckoned it was a good one to go for so i brought it :) not sure about speed so i will have to let you know when i get it going but i would like to stick lipo in it. Battery wise though i have got the same as you in it at the mo. Im getting the rear wing mount soon hopefully but i can't seem to find a 3 racing one anywhere and i don't want the GPM one so i will probably buy the proper Kyosho blue one and de-anodise it. The wing mount that came on the nano is different from the inferno so she is wingless until i can sort out the mount lol. It doesn't seem much heavier but i wanted something to bling up because all my other rc's are bashers but i will bet i will still jump this one lol :)
