edbond Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 After my recent accident - Revo V Curb - Topic I have been looking for spare parts, and this is what my cost is: List Price - £38.25 Modelsport - £29.39 ebay us seller - £14.94 US shop - £24.87 All these prices are ex postage. The ebay sale would be ok for import duty, but I may incur cost with the shop. I know our tax is 17.5% v 5% but, still that doesn't account for the extra cost we incur! jimk04 Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 I use one of the RC shops on ebay from Hong Kong. The parts were a little cheaper and postage only a few quid, but it took two weeks. One of the parts was wrong and the shop wont reply to my mails. I learnt about JE Spares after this episode and there was not a lot in it. JE every time from now on!
