my cafe racer project

Hello.

For the last 4 years I've wanted to get a motorcycle and spend some time stripping it, repaint and rebuild it into a cafe racer. Well I've got a 2003 Suzuki gs500 which I've been using as a winter bike and now its time for me to put it back on the road ready for winter. I knew it needed alot of work doing to it like headrace bearings, wheel bearings and engine work plus other things so I've decided to use this as my project. So far I've spent around 8 hours working on it, its gone from a complete bike to just a frame. I've done front wheel bearings and fork seals, I just need to pull the swing arm out, repaint the frame and start rebuilding. Here are some pictures of the work so far....

I had to drop the engine out and asked dad for help, he decided to let go of the engine whilst I was holding it, it trapped both of my hands and instead of helping he calls mum out to get a photo of me and stand there laughing! I've also started to paint a few bits, I've sprayed my yokes and forks black, I've started to spray parts of the frame black tulip (dark purple) but I'm not sure what colour to do the tank and front mud gaurd... Any ideas?

As requested. My left hand was trapped at the wrist stopping the engine from moving far enough forward, it was a little painful!
