I quick photo of my Yankee Concept (Porsche 911) it's a 1/4 scale two stroke in road car. The car in the background is my 1/10th Schumacher CAT XL.

It's sure is pretty big even bigger than my Baja 5B, still have some work to do on it, refit the engine and electronics etc. It has been an interesting build as its a pretty rare and unique car. Once I'm done I may sell it as I've no where to use it at the moment :-( but we will see! I will update with progress when I can.

Yes you are right these are not easy to acquire and very expensive, the bodyshell as you can see is huge it's not your usual Edited by MardaveMeteor

Mardave meteor - I have an MRC 1/4 CLIO WILLIAMS and a 1/4 scale Renault 5 turbo (christophe menoud concept will post pics asap) and have owned a number of yankee 1/4 cars , they are easy to paint and have the same concept. you will need at least 5 polycarbonate paint cans to complete due to size, plenty of masking tape and a dust free booth. What type of paint job are you interested in ?

It's been a while since I posted as I've been so busy, and for that reason I've decided to sell my Yankee Concept 1/4 scale. I was all prepped to rebuild this monster but just haven't had time and can not see me having time in the near future. The car has the original Yankee (Zenoah) engine, silencer, Yankee "turnforce" servo. an unpainted bodyshell and wing set worth £200 it's huge!! The chassis, gearbox and diffs are all smooth, basically the car needs a little time spent reassembling  and setting it up. These are already hard to find and becoming harder. Anyone interested make me a sensible offer :-)

OK so i purchased this quaterscale porsche 930 from mardavemeteor and will be working on this car soon and will be starting anew thread. just waiting for some parts to arrive,

The plan is to keep this as original as possible as yankee themselves no longer stock all the parts.
