Hyper st upgrades

Hello just got a hyper st and im wondering is there any parts that need upgrading from the go,

Its standerd atm but ive just put an alpha 852 engine in, put if i accelate fast it the front lifts up and then the fron wheels spin is there a way to stop that maybe thicker centre diff oil?

Yes, to stop front wheels ballooning you need thicker center diff oil

nice. ...cvd's all round once u've bent ur ones....pro hubs...pro braces...where do u wanna stop....i'd run it ..then if u brake sumin....an there's a pro upgrade. ..go for it....

Definitely pro chassis braces....both my RTR ones broke in the same place.

T-bone bumpers front and rear and a decent set of big bore shocks will be good too.

Ok. .well u need a better servo in there fir a start...this could b partialy y ur brakes crap..or they need setting up better.....how much u willing to spend on a servo then??

iv got a 15kg alturn servo from modelsport and initial impressions are its very good for not alot of money

I run savox 1256tg`s in my mt4g3...and savvy flux xl....and there sweet!!I run a alturn 780 in my bl hyper sterring and that's sweet aswell

Def replace the front knuckles with pro ones. The standard ones are made of china

Uprade that engine to an brushless motor smoother, faster and more fun (oh and less noisy!!) 

 

Be interested in what you use for shock upgrades I've tried a few and all have been too short

is 4s roughly equiv to nitro power wise? 

im in the long term process of converting mine to brushless and im trying to gauge what sort of power i want

4s is ok and with the right gearing your looking at around 40-45mph, you want to really look at 5-6s if you really want speed 6s with the right gearing I suppose you would be looking at around 60+ mph, I usually use 4 or 5s

I run 6s regularly with no issues really...Ok. .the odd tyre sploddin....lol...or diff maybe. ....but normally every thing is sweet!! Edited June 21, 2015 by evssv

I've only ever killed one mt4g3 tyre and 3x on my hyper in one outing..lol!....but they were on there way out anyways...the 6s jus helped them along..lol!! Edited June 21, 2015 by evssv

its ok really apart from the od driveshaft and 2 clutches aaaand a gearbox that munched itself lol
