I'm glad I stripped it in the end, as is the way I've spent more than I anticipated.

Parts so far

Idler gear

Centre drive cups and dog bones

Various o rings and foam pads

Diff oil and Shock oil

The oils should last me a while though I guess.

I took it out today and gave it a go.

First impressions, well I don't think I'll bother with 3s as 2s is fine. The tyres are crap, more grip is required. It's absolutely hilarious to be honest, much quicker than it should be. Almost impossible to keep in a straight line if you gun it from a standing start, but surprisingly good fun once you learn to be softer with the throttle.

Need to spend some time on the Slash so it's going to stay how it is for the time being.

Glad I got it though as I thoroughly enjoyed it today and my 8 year oldnephew though it was great too.
