atom3624 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Smaller engines like those they normally reckon 16%. 20% tops. 20% and 25% is normally for the bigger block .26 / .28 / .30 / .32 engines (.26 is approx. 4.3 cc) Some will consider 30%, but if you read the small print of the manufacturers, they'll recommend you increase the shims if you increase to 30%+ That's what my understanding of it is anyway.
