That said unless there rubbing against something the diff's/ gearbox would have to he plastic meltingly hot surely to transfer that amount of heat through the output/input cups. TheDriver Posted May 14, 2017 Share Posted May 14, 2017 I have some pinion on order on the slow boat from China. But being impatient I thought I would try 4s on my old 16t pinion. I ran the mte on 4s and it was still a blast, including landing on its head from a standing start. Noticed some wheel wobble. Mainly rear left. I got some shims on order to take out any play in the hubs as per doddys vid. What else could it be. Bearings? What size are the wheel bearings. Thanks. Could dremmel the steering arms on the hub down a little but will weaken them a bit.
