neil.b
I am Mostly just using stuff I already have in my spares box, so there will no doubt be some trial and error involved. The diff I am using is made up from a mixture of durango dex8 and arrma kraton center diff parts. I think its a 50t steel spur and a 16 pinion. I will be running a 1900kv turnigy motor and 4s for a start just while I make sure everything is ok. This is quite an old(13 years old) nitro savage I am converting. It has had a lot of upgrades over the years but its not a brand new model so I need to build the power up slowly.

Tug
Your local HPI dealer? I tried those cups, don't rate them. They don't have the steel inserts that stop the cross pins from cutting in to the ally, thus they fail. I'm having better luck with the stockers. Maybe it's just me? Tug
Take your pick, it depends what you want it to do. I run 500,000, it'll still wheelie, but gets off the line so much quicker.

Tug
I think I went with 60/500k/3. I didn't want it tail-happy, hence the thin oil in the rear diff.
evssv
Cool...I'll go 60-100-30k then....all our other 1/8th's r this and there fine. .
