The SCX10 and my Dads Sprout got a run... Didn't take many pictures and no video, I've had a flu bug since Boxing day and now have a suspected ear infection, so I wasn't really feeling it... Still had fun though, apart from going almost all the way through one of my LiPos wires by not having the spur gear cover on.

Seriously considering just buying the SCX10ii raw builders kit and putting these wheels/tyres, electrics and body onto it.

Took the SCX10 out for a dust blowing off session.
Performed amazingly, these Voodoos hook even better than I remember, the whole truck performed better than I remember it, think I need to clock the rear axle up just a little bit to help reduce the torque twist more, the lower links are too long, think they are about 102mm and they should be 92.

Those axles look lovely, especially like the attention to detail with scale bolts 👍🏻

Having experience OD with my Enduro for the first time it’s definitely a worthwhile upgrade too.

I personally much prefer the power wagon as a cab only too. Will you be going with a proline/axial cage or some custom metal work?

I don't think I will have any cage at all, I want the CoG as low as possible and I think if I can cram everything under the bonnet, perhaps a scale toolbox in the rear and some nice shock hoops, with the SSD shocks too, the bare look might be the way to go.

Time will tell, I might go all out on a scratch built bed.

She's now stripped down and ready for new parts.
Plus some of the new parts pictured.
I still think it will have no bed, so I want some fresh rear shock hoops, something to look a bit more pleasing on the eye, might either try to make something or buy something.
Not had a proper look for what's available yet though.
SSD links all done, next is new skid plate and new chassis rails.

Nothing wrong with the no cage look at all 👍🏻 Suits the power wagon cab better that most too.

What compound are the Voodoo KLRs out of interest? I’m currently in the market for another set of tyres and heard good things about them 🤔

Yup, she's going on a big time diet, weight all the way over the front, I am really going to try and avoid cutting the rear of the cab to clear the transmission like a lot of people do as well, see how that goes.

No idea on my current ones I'm afraid, bought second hand and he couldn't remember, the other set I have coming from the states with my Mrs are blue from memory.

IMO, foams are more important than compound, just from personal experience, but I haven't tested every compound of every tyre.
