The Trooper Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Guys, i need some hard tires for my Losi 8-te, i'd like a harder compound to try and stop ballooning and preferrably something that will also last. Also need some decent wheels, ones which won't strip out when bolted to an overpowered 8-t... Also, what is the best way to tape foams and what with? Any suggestions and links? fatboyneil Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 For a stronger wheel try boiling them before fitting tyres this was an old trick we use to do to stiffen the wheels also good for rit dying them at the same time. Tyres well take your pick as long as you use gorilla/gaffa tape they should take a bit of abuse. And inserts most use the hyper St ones but some tyres like the fastrax spiral tyres are good with the proline blue closed cell inserts Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
