mikef350 Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Hi all I need help identifiying this rb engine am not sure if its a 21 or 28 size engine as the cooling heads taken a bit of a beating. And the engine is not passing the compression test so now i am not sure if should look out for another second hand nitro engne or try hunt down the parts needed for this engine.which would be the cheapest route? Before you bin it it's prob worth pinching the sleeve - as for size Blind bambi I'm afraid - never could afford to bash with rb engines so never owned any. If the liner/piston are scored or marked up, then it's a paperweight. If it's just worn...then a re-pinch might get some life out of it. davemate Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) It's a rb 21 sport Bottom of the range rb engin a cheap and cheerfull option looks like its ****ed now mate. Spend your dosh on a quality used engine an os or a better rb maybe.
