Tamiyacowboy Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 basicly yeah its just a brushless motor. cooling wise we just throw a jacket on them and hook up some forced cooling loop fuel lines. inlet from boat to motor jacket, from motor jacket to esc, from esc out of boat. some go backwards and cool esc first then feed to motor and the ejection from boat. open end or closed end dont really matter, but a cooling jacket is a required thing for brushless to dump the heat and keep the esc from overworking and frying out, a boat is a sealed unit so loosing heat is somewhat hard without a cooling loop Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
