Breitling.1884
Hello people, i have just ordered an Axial limited Rubicon RTR and it should arrive tomorrow, i chose it because i already own crawlers and bashing machines and i realy like the scaleness of the Rubicon and cant wait to be adding things to it however, can anybody tell me if it is waterproof straight out of the box? If not what are my options so i can get trekking. Thanks.

mini-z-awd
if its the new ae-5 esc then that is supposedly waterproof i don`t think the servo will be though. if its the older ae-2 then no its not neither is the servo

heavyleftthumb
tbh i have yet to water proof a servo. and i have only ever had two die. one was a cheapo hongkong special mg servo. which lasted all of 5 mins the other was a standard axial servo which was regularly dunked and i broke the casing on it still actually works lol. Breitling.1884
So would you say its splash proof atleast then?
heavyleftthumb
i have dunked te standard ae-2 servo which came with mine many time and still works. i would just run and have fun and replace when needed. but if you want to take preventative measures like sealing with silicone and stuff then it might make it last longer.,
