rear alloy hubs

theres 2 types of hubs dude:

 

these:

Which are a direct replacement of stock hubs (this what i use) along with conical spacers.

 

or..

for the latter, you need the correct width rose joint & pins with c-clips as seen in pic.

I always look out for these on offer at Hobbythek - excellent quality.

There are apparently excellent-looking ones from China - might be slightly out dimensionally?

Are the hinge pins straight?

Is the grub screw loosened?

Al.

 

Sorry - read your query .. it does help!!

The rod end that slots into the hub is quite slim.

The 2 hub types permit different camber adjustment and in some cases to permit the rod to clear the gears in the case of the MT, where the spur is quite big.
