Yep heard the same thing so planning on getting a 5s when funds allow.

6s is great fun tho if you get the gearing right and are careful on the throttle.

Also toying with the idea of putting the esc over front above the front drive shaft. To help with balance and front end weight.

My esc is gonna have to go at the front anyway!

Oh I only just noticed you'd got a nitro! Mine was nitro but I'm steering clear as they're just too much cost! Oh are you gonna build a second one from the chassis? Let me know if you don't want that what are your plans for it then?

I think for now it'll stay nitro and be the main basher.

I'll save the buggy for special occasions haha!

I've pretty much now got a car for every occasion!

I'll keep you posted though and I'll still run the buggy as well.

Need to sort out the gearing on the buggy, especially with the 5s coming. Want more top end!

And I'll try and get some video ASAP!

Looking good there George. Have you had her powered up yet? Are you going to insulate those motor/esc connectors? you wouldn't want them to arc on each other.

I've powered her up, but only on a measly 6cell NIMH. Which is pretty poor! Oh I never considered, with what?

Just a couple of turns of insulation tape should be fine.

Also don't forget to make sure the motor is spinning up the correct way. It fairly easy just remove your pinion. Plug her up and listen to the sound of the motor. Obviously you should be able to hear that full forward on the Rx the motor will spin at full speed and full reverse will only give about half throttle.

I will do matey! No I've checked, it's spins higher in full throttle than reverse for sure!

Get some heat shrink George, tape will end up coming off eventually. You definitely don't want the tape to come off and it to short out with a lipo connected!
