It’s not a new ESC unfortunately:( good couple of years old

Yeah i checked and rechecked all of the connections. So like you say it could either be solder or the ESC then? Not the motor?

Does this without me holding it, on its own stationary with a different battery it slowly jolts or moves a small amount. But in the air the wheels go full speed again.

OK so I’ve tried another battery, same symptoms but more exaggerated. Car on the ground twitches and very tiny movements forwards. Lifted in the air it spins freely and the wheels run quickly. Second it’s back on the ground and there is a ‘load’ it doesn’t work again.

I do i’ll give it a whirl! It seems to cut out under load, so if i hold the buggy and then pull the trigger the whole car cuts out completely. Other battery is on charge now.

Battery holds charge and all the cells are balanced so wouldn’t have thought it was that?

I’m running a Hobbywing 60a Brushless ESC and Motor combo in a Quanam Vandal, on 2S. Im having issues, the car will drive normally and bomb about and then all of a sudden it will stop, the wheels will still steer left and right and the car still has power. Picking the car up / turning off and and on again sometimes remedy it. Rarely i’ve noticed power seems to be gone all together (no fan on the esc and light out on the receiver box) This makes me think it’s maybe the on / off switch playing up? Let me know your thoughts!

It's come to summer, and I've decided to have a clear out of some of my RC's, to more importantly make room for a potential new phantom.. This is my much loved Duratrax Evader St - A 1/10 Nitro Truggy. The car is 2WD and in fantastic condition considering how long I've had it! The tires all have all the tread left on them too. The original DTX engine is still there and running well, and as been upgraded from the horrible pull start to a root start. I will throw the old one in, in any case. Included are - Car itself, Re shaped Evader body (to fit the exhaust) Fuel filler bottle Roto start - NiMh Batteries if need be Lots of official spares (see photos) Original manual Fuel if someone wants to collect! Small batteries used to power the servos and receiver. Glow ignitors and their respective chargers Required - Tx and Rx Fuel Most likely a new glow plug. Price wise, i'll start it £80 including special delivery. Offers are of course welcome If theres anything I've missed out or you want to know feel free to shout me, Im usually on at all hours!

Battery pack is a zippy hard case, it's not new so the lvc shouldn't have changed but I'll check

Ive been running my 1/10 at the moment, it's got a HW WP 60a brushless system in it, i went to use it this morning and found that it keeps cutting out upon throttle, it will comfortably drive round i reverse but is jerky in forwards and cuts out at any high power.. it does however run well in forward if i hold it in the air.. Im stuck, any ideas?? George
