snapon
Hi guys my standard throttle servo is starting to play up so want to renew and might as well do both . Hitec or rhino or any others ? Don't want to spend fortunes as I'm a light user and light brasher so anything that's better then stock . I see the hitec 7965 is recommended but

rctruckz
im running rhino digi 4 but they dont make them now,so next best is hitec yup they do, there's a new version Rhino4 (HV) ..which is exactly same as rhino 4 except it supports Lipo (HV = High Voltage) But to be honest, i just bought a Hitec 5765 which is exactly same as rhino4 (even down to the circuit board) except for the casing & price tag, 5765 = Edited June 10, 2013 by rctruckz
(-:AD:-)
savox 0235 on steering,.savox 1256 on throttle. I think is the best set-up.
snapon
Will the both the savox or hitec bolt straight into my km baja with no mods or brackets ? I think my standard steering servo is metal geared 33kg and throttle 15kg . All i want to do is plug and play but iirc the km baja radio box is different to the hpi one and needs modding ? snapon
All the different oppinions lol . Could you give numbers for each make that i would need so i can look up prices on servoshop ie alturn/hitec/savox etc ? ;-)
snapon
The savox are nice and pricey lol . Think i will go with hitec 5765 for steering and power hd 1501 for throttle . Just over 60 notes for both . Will these have enough kg power ?

tribbles
645? They're only 7kg. That's what my old T/B servo is. Should have gone for this, twice the torque of the 645 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/alturn-usa-high-performance-race-servo-ultra-high-torque-/rc-car-products/371394 also what size servo does baja use for T/B? Standard or quarter scale? If quarter scale, you should have got a quarter scale servo. FG's use standard size servo for T/B...wish they'll move to quarter Edited June 15, 2013 by tribbles
snapon
Think there 8kg but even so that's enough power for a t/b servo as already mentioned
(-:AD:-)
baja throttle servo is a standard sized servo.
