As above front and rear uber rc bumpers wanted please

My km baja shocks seem pants and im sure ive read that most are not filled correctly from new ? Is it worth replacing or just checking/replacing the oil and maybe springs ? The rear just dont bounce back , fronts seem ok . If replacing oil can anyone recommend which oil to use front and rear and where to purchase ? Same goes for springs , cheers

Yeh just want something a bit less raw . I get used to it but it is LOUD and fancied a change plus with a pipe coming out the center rear its less likely to damage in a roll and wont melt the shock socks lol

Anyone recommend or using a pipe that isnt as loud as the km tuned pipe as it makes my ears bleed lol

Had my km baja 002tx for 16months from rcmodelz and great bit of kit for the money . NEVER had any issues with rcmodelz , always helpful and normaly next day delivery . Id personaly go for a 002 over the 001 as the extras are worth it imo . Ive fitted front and rear shock braces , rpm bumpers , fan brace , outwear covers , ddm fuel cap , alloy clutch carrier , clutch bell mod, hitec servos , killswitch . You must set up endpoints and trims etc before use as i killed my servo in days lol . And use the best 2stroke oil to prolong engine life . Good luck

I have a tuned pipe on my km 29cc (dom clone?) And fancy a change . I like the look and sound of the cpi but not for that money . Anyone using the thor or vpipe from rc modelz ?

Just removed the steel cage on my km baja to replace it with original black plastic one to make it lighter but when fitted the original roof guard is a tight fit sittin on top of spark plug cap so in a roll its gonna do damage ! Have refitted the steel cage back for now as its seems so much stronger then the flimsy plastic one and seems to ad so much strengh to the chassis and car just wondered why they used the nylon one in first place ?

Sorted it . Went into dual rate on controller and in channel 2 and that adjusts throttle travel . Bingo

Will have a look to find alt setting but not sure its on flysky ?

Only throttle endpoint before , not brake . It can be set from 0-120% . 0 being least travel and 120 max but only on brake this is after fitting the hitec . So now im not getting full throttle on carb opening as i have no endpoint adjustment as its set to norm on channel 2 . Old servo was set to rev and had endpoint adjustment for throttle . If i set hitec to rev on channel 2 is works opposite way ? Is it because the hitec is not digital servo ?

Just fitted a new hitec hs645mg throttle servo and may have fault with settings ? With original km baja servo , channel 2 on flysky was set to REV and endpoint was used to set throttle travel . Now with new hitec in REV it works opposite way to original so set it to NOR and then works but now endpoint only sets up the brake travel and not throttle which it did before ? Am i missing something ?

Just ordered all the parts and screws etc all needed and only came to just over

Great stuff i will order that lot . Only thing they are out of stock is the roof pod . Am I gonna need the bolts/screws etc to bolt it together as my steel one is all one piece and also thin so cant fit my windows lol

You guys are good ! It maybe cos im just searching for roll cage instead of individual parts lol . My bad !! Do you know if the km plastic one is same thickness as the hpi one ? Reason i ask is the window brackets are to big to fit and clamp around the km steel bars . The km steel bars are thin and when i looked at the 5b in shop window the black plastic looked much thicker

Ive got a km baja that comes with the steel rollcage . Im after the black plastic one which comes with the hpi baja 5b but cant find them or a price anywhere ! Rc modelz list them but not in black . Cant find it on abbots , freepawn etc etc . Anyone got a spare for sale or know where to get one ?

Thanks for that , I will keep an eye out for used then on good old flea bag . Yeh I noticed the shells aren't cheap lol but fancy a change of look . Unless someone sells there's on here

Im bored with the stock km baja look and fancy a change like the losi look . What do i need to get a truck shell on ? Do i need all the 5t fittings and frame and wheres best place to get from or anyone fancy selling theres lol

Just checked and the 645 is 10kg at 6v and 7.7kg at 4.8v . Im running a 6v so even better

Anyone using above on there hpi or km baja over the stock plastic set up ? My standard plastic has loads of play especialy in the up and down movement . Was thinking of getting above set up to improve set up ?

Think there 8kg but even so that's enough power for a t/b servo as already mentioned
