Be careful in events

Recommended Posts

This was a collision between a World Models 80" Mitsubishi Zero with a Fuji-Imvac 50 cc gas EI engine & a 450 size electric helicopter on 03/24/2012 at SCCMAS.org

you have to be careful in RC flying events otherwise you will lose your expensive plane  like this guy does

Full hd film of a big wad of cash being destroyed, the zero pilot not knowing or seeing a Rc Helicopter was flying right at the center of the field, and then not knowing what was around him as he made a low and close pass, anyway this is a part of game, usually there's nobody to blame for this.....

If that was an eighty inch plane then it hit a trex 600 n you can even see the header tank in the vid if you pause just before the strike. It's pretty much fair game at these events anyway. The plane pilots spotter should have given him plenty of warning about the Heli if he was doing his job right. Your spotter should keep you updated with a stream of info, if there any good that is. Plane pilots fault for overflying other users and not listening to his spotters of which there were several. The Heli pilot didn't have a spotter so no help could come from his end.

Yes but low pass to a Heli pilot is below 3 ft :D The look on everyone's faces is priceless. Plane flyers are so funny when they crash. Fortunately Heli pilots get used to crashing very early on so they don't do the sad puppy look when there best model hits the floor.

yep, and to be honest the Zero , kamakazi was right, larger models have more rule over the flight apron.

this was down to spotter error, the mistake was the " heli 3d acro 9'0clock  flight apron danger.".

his spotter was on his pilots right and side he could not have seen the heli untill to late.

two models lost, one spotter feeling very bad, and two pilots requiring a total rebuild.

you guys need to see what happens in a slope combat zone lol, wings chopped in half,

parts missing etc etc, blowing props mid flight ripping out the aerilons
