Welcome to our hobby, hopy you will get a lot of fun :). Controlling the plane is not a hard work, especially if you bought a right model (light, maybe even with autonavigation)

My first plane was E-flite UMX PT-17. It has a great engine, looks great and is fast as bullet. Bought for $70, but now on Amazon it is $130.

There is a lake near near my house, so sometimes i tried to learn landing a E-flite Timber 1.5m BNF on water without killing it. It's hard but after 6-8 attempts i got it right.

Choose any of this models, you can upgrade them in future, buy details on Ebay and watch video "RC details for noobs" to learn more. Cheers!

You’re braver than me, I’m NOT firmly on water or land.

Actually it got me thinking.
