Yrkoon Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 hey guys i have a thunder tiger dx the old brushed one and im just wondering how it stands in the newbie drift arena as it is my only drifter, so i have nothing to compare it too for drifting basically how would you guys rate it as a drifter? or would my tt-01 be better as a drifter? and also where do i get a pair of decent wheels for it that dont break around where the bolt goes in when using it on slightly bumpy tarmac? CurtisRider Posted June 9, 2012 Share Posted June 9, 2012 I don't think anybody on here has one so it's hard to say what it would be like! As for wheels, I had problems with my centres breaking, I found that some wheels just weren't beefy enough where the end goes. Try finding a piece of tube (plastic or metal) that will slide over the outside of wheel centre and then glue it on with some araldite, this would hopefully help it hold up! Drifting on rough surfaces isn't worth it chap, try and find something a bit more forgiving otherwise you will struggle like heck! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
