Sorry if this is a stupid question new to all this stuff :lol:

Is that lens just for close up shots ?

No, you can take normal pictures with it aswell. The macro part of it just enables you to focus closer to objects to get a "macro" picture.

I do have some sample pics taken with the lens somewhere, I will have to hunt them out though.

For all the time you've been bumping this you would have qualified to use the sales section on Talk Photography. Well you'd have to make 25 posts as well.
