freeze ? was thinking heat

No freeze it...

Block one end up with blue tac or something like that...

Fill with fresh milk , block the other end up,

stick in freezer over night..

the reason you use blue tac is , , it will pop off the end of the exhaust when the milk freezes...

So you will not split it..

Yep use Milk, the natural water in it seperates and causes it to swell more than the same amount of plain frozen water. If you ever freeze milk in its carton from the supermaket you can physically see it, swells up like a goodun and changes colour due to seperation. of course as it defrosts it turns white again.

well its in frezzer now ,been there since about 9am ,ill check soon if no diffrence ill deforst it and heat i up to sort the bend

Best leave over night...Some times you have to freeze them twice,,,

It worth doing.. before you heat it up..

Im not sure freezing it will straighten it up. Freezing is fine for general dents but it will take some force to pull your pipe straight again. I agree with the above, apply heat & straighten first then freeze to finish off to pop any remaining dents out. The heat will make the metal more malleable and you will be able to control the degree of bend back to shape. Without the heat the metal will just give all of a sudden when it reaches its stress point and you will find it difficult to be accurate.
