CHUNKERLUV
Niether..those pipes are just for show. By a cigar shaped pipe similar to the silver one you picked but with approx half inch side stinger not the ornamental stinger on that one, for the science behind what cigar shape read the linky but don't get one of them pipes as they'll do nothing for performance http://tech.flygsw.org/tuned_pipe.htm Something like this would be great for your 21 this is a smooth delivery pipe because of the gentle cones....but you get different headers to play around with the length and thus alter when the powerband kicks in. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDIT-1-8th-Buggy-EFRA-2031-Tuned-Pipe-3-Manifold-SET-/320769600179?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4aaf5baab3

Nitroholic
You also have to be careful about which side of hte truck they are meant to go on. Savage pipes go on the opposite side to the Kyosho. Check fitment for where the pressure line to the tank goes. Any pipe intended for a 1/8 buggy will fit with the stinger to the side and hte pressure outlet on the top. I fitted a Tsais pipe with 'ornamental stinger' on my Kyosho and it looks fantastic. Doesn't perform any worse than the stock Kyosho one, but fits better and looks the part. CHUNKERLUV
Totally you can gain 30-40% more from your engine with the right pipe
kingscott
plus remember the kyosho GX has a screw on manifold not a spring retained one. I think you can get a conversion kit! Go for a team Orion mate, I had one on my GX21 and it was lovely! about 45 quid tho. http://www.teamorion.com/inferno-7.5-sport-gt-serie-in-line-pipe-set-en-2-3.html
