Hiya Folks - just a quick update regards the planned event this weekend... yes THIS WEEKEND!! due to the current bad weather we seem to be experiencing / is expected..... we've decided that a change of location is necessary to allow everyone to still be able to run! - the NEW LOCATION is now going to be at a VERY NICE, OPEN SPACE in Standish that we as a group have frequented a couple of times - this venue OFFERS GREAT space for all, and has a decent drainage system.... don't get me wrong - should this rain keep up - it will be a little muddy... but nothing the cars cant handle for a day!! the NEW VENUE is going to be in STANDISH, WIGAN - POSTCODE WN6 0YB, just ..... i'll be putting a map together shortly - (in a post to follow ) detailing how to get there off the main road (Wigan Lane) theres a short 200 meter walk to the site from the available parking - but believe you me - ITS TOTALLY WORTH it once you get there. this place offers us a VAST open relatively flat running area, we have jumps, bumps, flats, a TRACK! and places for crawlers, scalers and just about everything else - Bar ONROAD vehicles - but im sure with some grippy wheels and some shock adjustments they'll work too we hope that there'll be some interest shown and some folks will head down for some fun and games - we've got some prizes for a certain number of competitions taking place and the offer of covered shelter (should it be raining) and also some free food (curry, chillie and BBQ) for those who do pitch up! Hiya Everyone, Just a shout out to all members of the forum to let you guys know that our local bashing group Wigan and District RC Car club are having our 2nd Birthday Bash and we would officially like to invite anyone willing to come down and attend. The Venue (currently) is going to be at Westwoods Way in Wigan, postcode WN3 (google it) - this has been our bashing ground for a while now (amongst others) and offers a plethora of different terrains and things to do, there's tarmac for you roaders, some flat and hilly off road dust/mud terrain too. many hills and ditches for crawlers - basically a bit of everything for everyone The Date - Sunday 3rd November The Time - 9:30 Start - until every things broke, the fuels ran out or you've just had enough lol Facilities - there's a good area for parking, and a short walk to the bash site and we will be offering some free food (in limited amount) we have a group web site with more details and a short video of our 1st birthday bash! please visit http://www.wdrccc.co.ukfor further details. the plan is to run a number of competitions throughout the day, highest jump, longest jump etc.... and we will also have a speed gun for those wanting to see how fast they can really go! some small prizes will be awarded to the winners at the end of the day. if your interested in attending please feel free to comment below, message me or even better join our facebook Group (search for wdrccc chat/banter) to keep up to date with progress and meet some of the local lads who will be down on the day... so yeah! get down - get involved and lets have a riot!!

Afternoon folks! An looking for a new engine for an FTX Punisher project I have on the go.... Any recommendations on a place / website to shop.... Preferably UK based to avoid import costs. Also while I'm here - I have a couple of old zenohas.... 26cc and 29cc.... Wondering if it would be more cost effective to just get one of them done up/tuned etc.... 2 speed or 3 speed box?

Hiya Guys, Know a few people on here have, or have had these RC's.... ive had one for a while but for some reason - the 3 speed dosent seem to be changing gear as it should... the set up look's alright, and it does change... but intermitintalty and only between 1st and 2nd gear.... could anyone out there give me a few tips as to what to look for, change/alter.... was looking for an instruction manual but have hada no joy! any help appreciated! kind regards Steve
