I'm after an electric to do a bit of indoor racing over the winter, nothing serious, more for fun and it would get used for bashing as well. But I cant decide between this or an FTX Vantage brushless. My local club has said they would let me run the mini 8, but I'm just wondering a couple of things about them What sort of run time would you get from a 1000mah 3s lipo? Pearce Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 An 1800mah used to last me about 10 mins on a rc18 mamba system You dont need massive mah lipos ,2s max You can pick up 1300 mah 2s new for around 8 quid Just buy more. I uses 6 lipos , and in this a day racing norm sees md just use one Batt and charge between heats as it doesn't fully run down I get a good 2 min warm up and 5 min round blasting the throttle on and off on top . Pearce Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 It doesn't state either it's a basher And it's certainly not The car is based on the 2.0 race roller Look at the hubs , look at the carriers etc Diff settings You wouldn't need that to bash Also just look at the front hinge pin holders They brake looking at them , one of the guys broke a front Lower wish bone , shock cap and hinge pin holder on Sunday in a small impact knock The Car can be used for what ever you as a driver desire But it won't last long up live up to much expectations sorry as a basher Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
