Have a hyper 7.5, had it running a few times, all was good, until today, and tried to fire it which failed and it 'locked' / flooded, left it a while, but it won't budge, stripped baling plate off and carb, tried to roll the fly wheel but it's dead tight and won't rotate past tdc.

Please help.

It's broken in, had nearly 2litres through, was all good until today. Used roto start as usual, was close to fire the. Wouldn't budge. Grrr, now looking at slash brushless as a second car so I'm never stuck in.

read the beginners bit at the top of the nitro forum, it says what to do in your situation i think.

Tries turning it with heat and an flat head in the wheel, but it's still stiff, so iv put it to bdc and leave it over night.

ok sounds a bit worse then than what we all think, tryy tomorrow and keep us updated.

I had this problem with my Picco P3. I found that heating the engine up with a hair dryer before starting helped great amounts. A little after run oil also made turning the engine over a bit easier. I used a flat head screw driver against the flywheel and gave it a little tap with a small hammer to get the engine free when it got stuck at TDC.

Took it to Bmm today, one way bearings nackerd, the pin housing has sheared and then stripped aluminium from various 'teeth' Bmm couldn't say why it had happened either maybe a weak bearing housing.

Roll on next week when I get it back. In the mean time I'm looking at scrt-10 and slash 4x4.
