Anyone used the shortening kit for the bigger TRX-4? Just wondering if everything still works fine when its on, like nothing is binding etc. Love to get a couple more shells, but not much out there for the bigger wheelbase

How you find them springs? Find on mine its a bit slow to rise. Also in low gear, sometimes its struggling to go with clicking type noise. If you put it into high gear its fine, i did adjust the little mechanism when it engages low gear but it still happens now and again, seems to not want to get into low gear properly, anyone else had this?

I believe it works, but you have to follow whats in the Torox instructions for settings etc

I had a XV01 great car, WR8 great car, but clearance was always a problem, so i changed a Hobao VS buggy to a rally car, i just put a VTE front bumper on and changed rear shock tower to get posts for rear. Bought a shell from Delta Plastiks Arrma Typhoon is another popular option

Had mine out on the grass Saturday, i was only using 1 fan on the motor with a 20t. didnt even get luke warm lol 40cfm 40mm fan is crazy, got 2 on there but only ran one. Taken the Max 6 combo out and put in MMX8S + the 1520 motor with the yeah racing dual fan setup, nothing like the fans i built but it will be fine for 20t. Will give it a blast on 8s saturday 💪

Hey all, decided to sell my buggy. Its been fine, just cant see me using it any more. It comes nearly RTR, all its missing is a transmitter and receiver. I bought it as the 100amp RTR version, so it comes with the stock motor and 16t pinion i bought and ran it on a hobbywing quick run 150amp esc. I installed a 46t sput (stock 48 included) and put 100k oil in centre diff. It has firm orange springs and upgraded anti roll bars (stock springs and other anti roll bars inc). It also has new wheels with glued tyres. Battery tray was slimmed down to fit a bigger esc Looking for £200 posted to UK

Took it out today and it was impressive what it could climb, got up some steep stuff today. But it feels too stiff and bouncy so might try some thinner shock oil. One point it stopped driving and was making a clicking noise, with no drive to the centre dif. Was gutted thought diff had gone or something but it turned out it wasn't going into low gear properly. Just had to adjust the little grub screw on silver slider so it was closer to the spring and it was fine again. Did about 40 mins driving my 3s still has 82% left lol My bat's are quite big 5200/6000/6200 I have the battery move to the back front now seems a bit light so might move battery back to middle or just add some weight to front

Took out the Ho Bao VS with the MMX8S and it ended up just blowing all the tyres off lol, didn't get to try it on road my GRPs but I reckon it would of prob been a crash. Shell didn't fit properly it was over powered and running 25/46 Tyres ballooning touch my hand

I use Zee HRB Gens Ace CNHL All been good, but when the CNHL and Gens Ace are in my Infraction or Kraton they seem to be a bit more wild, like the power has been turned up. Run time they all been good.

Put a MMX8s into my hobao VS, also using XT150 connectors which are nice, although it was scary planning it properly as you link the batteries directly. Castle combo is going in the Infraction but i thought lets trying the ESC with the Spectrum motor 25t pin and 46 spur only 6s thou 😜

Man thats crazy, sure it was foating a little bit lol. Lots of nice places to take them in South Wales, taking mine out on Sat. Mates getting a TRX-4 soon and getting 2 of his kids DC1s and another friend will buy a crawler so be a little gang of us. It seems a bit to stiff imo, but i only have big batteries to go in it so it might be ok when i have 5000mah battery in it. Also is it still the case that it should go faster forward then reverse? Dont want to swap motor wires around yet just incase thats how they suppose to run. I know you can tweak the speed with the hand set.

Yea grey, decal sheet had window tints for sides and rear window, likes nice except the odd air bubble lol
