Lipos where to get them cheap but not crap

I got a pair of Zee lipos via the eBay. All good so far! On the subject of battery’s does anyone use adapters? I’m mulling over getting a Max but want to utilise my existing battery’s without having to resort to the solder iron. -
I can see their logic with the pricing it’s just whether you’re willing to pay the Traxxas tax so to speak! I keep looking at the new Maxx thinking of the old man but for the price I’m on a 6s Arrma.

Time will tell I guess. First gen of anything will inevitably through up issues. End user is the beta tester in a lot of ways. I see it a lot in the cycling trade.

Oh the tyres definitely going by numerous YouTube vids. As for the rest isn’t that what you’re paying the premium for though? Bombproof out the box etc.

I’m in two minds about the sledge. In one sense surely part of the fun is upgrading parts as they break. Essentially you’re just paying a premium to short cut that. That said it’s horses for courses I guess. If you want to spend more time bashing and less tinkering then you pays ya money and makes ya choice!

I’d still have a nitro if I didn’t live in town like I do. I enjoyed the tinkering etc that went with it back in the day. I’ve found an RC club track near me now so I might get another as I’ll have somewhere to run one without upsetting folk.

It even says in the description that it has up to a 400m range. I think I’ll be investing when I’m in need of a new radio.

Yeah it just looks like a rebadge so to speak and going by the current eBay prices it is the same cost.

Started looking at a Dumbo Tx after watching a few Kev Talbot vids. I’m late to the party but anyhow tonight I was perusing the radio section on Modelsport and low and behold I could swear I was seeing double. I guessing CML are getting the same system and badging it up as Etronix or at the very least from the same place. Apologies if you’ve all covered this already!

I think in a lot of ways print medias dead which is a real shame. I do enjoy the convenience of reading on an iPad but I miss the tactile nature of purchasing and then reading. Hell I even miss that new magazine smell if you know what I mean!

So first decent go out with the Vorteks and the servos died. In fairness it is a second hand truck so I’m not to bothered. Anyhow servos, what do you guys run?
