Entered my vehicle reg into one of these buying sites and it’s offered more than what I paid. Even if they picked faults on the body it’ll still be only a couple of hundred less than what I paid 3 years ago… No doubt if I let it go, I won’t find another car for months lol

Its how the car market is at the moment mate. It’s completely genuine too, a few people I know who have more than one car have sold their second/ prestige vehicle to We Buy Any Car, theyve knocked a few quid off, but nothing major. Vans are hillarious. We Buy Any Van have offered me £15 more than I paid for my Van…… I brought my van in 2019, Ive done nearly 40,000 miles and Ive scrapped the side up a ballard…..
However, the prices of what you would buy has gone up, so its pointless unless you can sell, do without and re buy when market stabilises.
