You could take apart diff housing and then the diff, remove the diff output and replace with a new one? Saves all the farting about. 🙂

I could. But it would mean taking apart even the inner diff gears will all the oil change etc. I think it is even more work.

That's funny, I was in Natwest today, they had a chart on the wall of all the banks and there ratings, I think the highest Natwest was was 9th, there was some obscure names on there I'd never even heard of.

I have the feeling it is because the rims are blue anodized.

Basically I would need a glue that is able to react with alloy and create a bond.

Tire glue (aka superglue) surely does not react.

Threadlocker might, but then not with rubber.

I will try the silicone idea but sand the rims before.

aw i get you jen with the anodized now yeah will defo need a light scuffing then as long as the bevels not on show should be find try a light sandpaper 👍 i did the same on some alloy baja wheels years ago worked well let us know how u get on jens 🙂

I sanded the rims yesterday and tried one more last time with tire glue.

Silicone has already arrived and will be used if that doesn't work.

Looks like I'm not alone here... Feels much better. For that I will have a beer with Seasons in the Abyss now. Skol!

I just called Royal Mail. According to them it has been scanned around my house. They opened an investigation. And from the neighbor I know it was Ian, our regular postie. So I presume he just made a mistake and put it in the wrong letterbox. But your DPD guy really got lost...

i get this all the time with new posties, they always mix up walk with road. i could smack the person who named these new houses tacked onto the beginning of the "road" addresses as "walk" addresses. even with a name plate under the doorbell saying "walk" i still get people asking for "road".

Well. It's all sorted now. Postie delivered it to the nearby clinic by accident. He came to me, apologized and will redeliver it tomorrow. Cool guy!
