  1. After a little break from rc for 2 months, I finished my rebuild of my ta-03f that I bought second hand and started to rebuild 2 months ago. now I need an new project, all of my cars are done and up and running, I own 10 at this moment, but for now I do not know what to buy for weeks I am looking for a nice deal on something I like but there is nothing that I really want, but this is good for my wallet
  2. I sold my konghead today, and finished my new m-05 mazda mx-5.
  3. run the rock rey on the beach, and started on my new m-05 build.
  4. So my brain has a new project, I bought a m chassis vw t1 body, and I have a ta-03rs chassis in parts that I have to rebuild, so I think I am going to make some sort of a low rider bus from them, I tested the body on my ta-03rs porsche chassis and yes it fits nice it is a long term project, I have to build my m-05 first and rebuild a ta-03f first.
  5. more stuff, parts for my m-05 build, body clips, alloy shock mounts for my low friction dempers, servo savers, springs, body posts, a vw t1 body, 2 sets of ta-03 torqeu spitter, and some sticker sheets for cheap 2 euro for them.
  6. It is a nice car and putting it on the shelf is not what you want , but ball diffs I hate them they are most of the time a pain to adjust and do not like brushless power, If I can not put a gear diff in a car I am not buying it, I have put a kyosho gear diff in my zahhak with some mods because of the ball diff, I have looked at the df-03 to but there are nog gear diffs for it so it is not for me, but you have a great looking car😃
  7. put some alloy chubs with bearings and alloy knuckles on my ta-03rs and changed the motor on it, it had a 380 finned 3000kv brushless motor in it, but the motor get hot so I swapped it for a normal 3654 hobbywing 3800kv motor and put a smaller pinion in it. the rest the day I was busy making packages for a lot of stuf that I am selling, a lot of stuff I do not need so I am clearing out.
  8. bought to much stuff this week, and not all of it arrived. paint some one sold them for 3.75 euro a can, 2 bleu bird servo, tires and wheels, eneloop batteries for my transmitters. ta-03f chassis with parts, 2 bodies the yellow one is not so nice is painted with the wrong paint, the silver one is very nice and I think it is an expert build body and never used. and a rare ta-03f rear gearbox housing and suspension parts that I found very cheap.
  9. I had the same experience with a typhon 3s blx bought it brand new, I had esc problems, leaky shocks, after 2 runs the front and rear suspension arm broke and I never broke an suspension arm on my rc cars and most of them are tamiya and I run the arrma just as hard as the tamiya cars. Then the gear mesh between the pinion and spur was to tight so I bought an adjustable motormount, and the servo is crap, the transmitter to, motor get real hot in mine even when I dropped the pinion gear a few tooth, and I had very poor runtimes 8 to 10 minutes on a 5200mah 3s lipo, with the same battery on a losi rock rey i get 20 to 25 minutes. I had to rebuild the whole car the diffs ring and pinion gear on mine where so thight that with the motor module out of it you can not rol the car, the diff clicks and bind like grazy, so there is a little shim on the crown gear side that I swapped to the other side to give the gears some room, and even when I did that the gears still bind a little. then there where a lot of other little things that are not so good and bad quality so in de end I sold mine after it only run 4 packs, I did not want to spent 200 to 300 on it to upgrade stuff. I was very disapionted with the car I had thought it was a lot better bot no, so for me no arrma cars for now.
  10. mmm this is a difficult one, what are you going to do with the car. I have build one myself and even with al the metal parts for me it was not special to build, but there are a lot of people that like the build but most of them are people that like it to make it is scale looking as possible and put them on the shelf, but I am not a guy that make shelf queens all my cars are runners. I have sold mine because it was the worst rc car I ever run, I have tried to make it better with an alloy chassis and coil over shock and a lot of different tires, but even with a mild 17.5 brushless motor it was not drivable the only thing the car does is spinning out all the time, so for me it was no fun.
  11. This robbe firefox tamiya bigwig clone for 25 euro, not sure what to do with it I am going to compare it with tamiya parts and look of parts fit, if not then I am going to paint the car and put on another bumper and then it is nice for on the shelf. And a tamiya ta-03rs for 60 euro with a extra new rare spare toyota corolla 237mm wheelbase body, the chassis is in real good condition so I going to rebuild this one and I am thinking making it a front motor chassis. I
  12. started to fix my cc-01, last time I ran it I stripped the little tooth out of the diff gear, I did not want to order a 4 euro part and then pay 13 euro on shipping cost, I found some tt-01 new diff gears that uses flat spots on the outdrive shaft instead of the little tooth, so I grind 2 flat spots on the axle shaft of the cc-01 and make it fit. I put yeah racing shock towers and tamiya alloy shocks on my wr-02, the gmade shocks I had on them where a little to short, with these shock I get more ride height 1.3mm more, so now the car don't get stuck so easy.
  13. That is because they do not have a lot of stuff lately, so I think that you are the only one that made on order from them and they had nothing better to do🤣
  14. I like it I love the wild willy body and I want it for myself but I never bought one because I know I distroy it and it is to nice for that.
  15. To be honest this is my second driver I have painted, and I do not have any flesh color so I used brown instead and made my own lewis hamilton😁
  16. Today I finished my wr-02 left over build, if you like to see more pictures take a look at my little build tread,
  17. Gave the ta-03rs porsche the first run of his life, it runs very nice, so after more then a year or so it is nice to have a street car again and do something different then running on the beach, I had a tt-01 and an xv-01 but sold both. I have put a larger pulley on the rear and smaller on the front to overdrive the car, it helps alot with spinning out with putting the power down from standing still and out of corners, my tt-01 and xv-01 where breaking out and spinning out when apply to much throttle this one not. I have to repair a small crack in the body I ran at full speed over a twig.
  18. cars that I had marui golden eagle cj7 tamiya grasshopper tamiya sand scorcher tamiya dt-02 holiday buggy absima at 2.4 tamiya xv-01 serpent spider srx-2 sct arrma 3s blx typhon 4x4 arrma kraton Basher sabertooth basher hellseeker 1/16 tamiya cc-01 tamiya tt-01 x2 tamiya gf-01 heavy dump truck mst-mtx 1 tamiya boomerang Basher bz222 cars that I have now Tamiya wt-01 truck tamiya hot shot losi rock rey tamiya m-05 tamiya konghead basher nitro circus mt 1/8 tamiya ta-03 rs tamiya wr-02 tamiya grashopper/zahhak fusion build tamiya cc-01 I am 100% that I forgot some cars
  19. put new wheels and tires on my rock rey, and painted a jimny body for my tamiya wr-02 left over build
  20. Did a little more today, the chassis is almost ready, the first plan was to use stadium thunder wheels that I had here, I had gpm alloy hubs for the front of the car but me being stupid drill out a m3 thread in them with a 3.2mm drill instead of 3mm I wanted to put pins with e clips in them, but now the have to much play so I can't use them. but I have other alloy chubs with knuckles only this ones use a hex instead of bearings in the wheel so I am going to use other wheels, I have some new jconcepst wheels that are for a yeti that I can fit on the car ,the front tires from the stadium thunder fits, for the rear I have to buy other onces,
  21. buy a hobbywing combo, those cheap coolrc esc and motors cogs ,most of the time it is the esc on those cheap combos. I run sensorless at most of my cars and I can drive very slow with them without cogging. I have sensored to and the differance is not much compare to a sensorless motor.
  22. There hobbywing max esc have a sensor cable on it to plug in the motor, so when the motor gets hot it shut down, it is to protect the motor.
  23. This m-05 mazda mx-5, cva mini shocks and an alloy motor mount for it.
  24. Maybe a bigwig with the hotshot alloy propshaft and center drivecups, the car comes with bearings. The avante is a nice car to look at but it is a little fragile from what I heard, most of the people that buy them make them shelf queens, and I think parts for them are not so easy and expensive.
