Hi guys. I'm going to be ordering a VSe roller kit soon. Beyond the usual stuff associated with ARTR stuff, like rebuild diffs with oil, shocks, threadlock etc, is there anything I worth upgrading from the get go while I have it in bits? I'll be getting the 7075 chassis if I can find one, and I like the double rear chassis brace mod I saw earlier in the thread. Hinge pin holders? Hubs? The lightweight centre diff cups looked a good price too? Cheers.

Sorry should have said, except buying a sensored combo! Some are crazy expensive. Any suggestions on one at a reasonable price?

Hi guys. I'm running a Gool RC 80a ESC and 3300kv on 19T, on 2s in my DT03. It runs OK, but it cogs really badly at low speeds. Once it's moving, the performance is great. I understand gearing it down to 17T (which I will do) might help, but I'm hoping for a more consistent fix. The wiring between motor and ESC is in good shape, I'm using a 5600mah 50C Turnigy Lipo, and the car has just been rebuilt. Would running a better quality ESC in it like a Hobbywing SC8 or similar help? Or is this just an accepted thing with non-sensored 1/10 setups? All my 1/8 fleet have Hobbywing ESCs and have no trouble trundling along at walking pace from a standing start. Any pointers towards a better combo, or other fixes, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys. Is there a noticable improvement when fitting sway bars to a Baja? At the moment I've none fitted, and the inside wheel on cornering lifts quite alot, sometimes off the ground. I've seen KM make them, however I've heard they are too soft and don't make much difference. Best to go with the HPI set? Any thoughts or input greatly appreciated.

Hi guys. Got one of these SkyRC engine heaters in a job lot of nitro bits. I've seen MS stock it and has the specs for it, NS recommends 12v DC input. Lots of people using 3s lipos to run it whilst out and about. I don't have any 3s packs, only 2s, 4s and 5s. 5 cell obviously overkill, but would a 4s work ok?

Hi guys, I'm planning on rebuilding the shock on my Baja 5b. They're stock shock apart from larger diameter shafts (6mm) The rig seems to pogo quite a bit after jumps and the shock motion is quite stiff and jarring rather than a smooth progression. Heard good things about Darksouls O rings and green slime? Any tips on improving the motion? Less pogo-ing? Cheers.

Morning all. I'll soon be the owner of a HPI Baja 5B. I've several 1/8 scales but this will be my first 1/5. It's a second hand rig with upgraded ESP 30.5 engine and all the usual smaller mods like kill switch, mesh covering, air filter cover, window panels etc. I'll be bashing it so performance isn't a big thing for me, more interested in durability and bling. I've had a look and seen things like upgraded pull starts, clutch carriers and brakes. What is worth spending the dosh on? Cheers. Nick

Hi all. When I power up the ESC the fan starts, I get 3/4 green LED flashes, then blank. I get no beeps to signify cell count and no "pulsing" from the motor. Red LED lights on throttle input. Steering servo works fine, have reset esc to stock settings, and calibrated to RX/TX. Have dismantled it and all connections/wires/capacitors look fine. Removed bullet connectors and connected direct to motor and still nothing. Tried a different motor and RX with same results. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Hi guys. Blew an esc on my buggy. In need of a half decent ESC for an Xray 808e. 4s Brushless. Also need some Team Associated SC8 wheels. They're 17mm Hex. Not buggy wheels please.
