  1. Evening all! It's been a while since I've been able to enjoy my hobby, moved here from Dorset a couple years ago, hoping to get my baja up and running in the next month or two. Anyone in or near the area of Leighton Buzzard/Bedfordshire? Fancy meeting up at some point give the cars a good pasting? ?
  2. Hey all! Quick question for ya, is there a big power difference between the Rovan. 36cc 4bolt and the Zenoah G34? Hope someone can shed some light on this.. Thanks!
  3. Hi all! Wondering if someone can help me locate the plastic or aluminium toe-in inserts for these hubs, can't seem to find them anywhere, have even messaged RCMODELZ to no avail. Cheers guys.
  4. Hmmm I can see why you think it might be the fuel. If you're considering getting a new engine maybe you could take a gamble on some 30%, then if it does go you've got an excuse to get a shiny new engine
  5. I forgot about Oxfordshire lol will add it to the title Do you know of any good places? I'm happy to travel if need be.
  6. Would be great if there are members from these areas who fancy meeting up for a bash at some point in the future. Feel free to drop a message and say where abouts you are located then hopefully we can all arrange something!
  7. Cheers! Don't know of any round here yet, lived here since feb Haven't bashed it since last year summer time
  8. Thanks 53HRA! I'm Looking forward to playing with it again, been too long
  9. How is it starting? I'm wondering if you could benefit from a different glow plug. Took me a few tries to find the right one for my engine, although depending on which engine, they make either massive or little to no difference. How old is the engine? Could also be a gunked up Carb, maybe a new plug and carb should see some improvements if different fuel doesn't. Hope it helps!
  10. Looking good! Yeah it's a shame, I've been doing the same mate, lack of bash time means more tinker time, always nice to sit back and stare for a while. And I suppose in the long run I'm not spending as much repairing it from the abuse lol.
  11. Hi all! I registered quite a while ago but never go round to introducing myself! I'm Dave and I've owned a KM Baja for a little over 2 years, not been out much as I can't seem to find anyone in my area (Leighton Buzzard) to go bashing with ? It's had a few upgrades such as, G34 2mm stroker kit with ported head, locked diff (which I'm still not sure about lol) Mad Max rear tires Cvd shafts Hitec D845WP steering servo Hitec HS-7985MG throttle/brake servo Copy dom exhaust pipe HIX7 iridium plug which seems to last forever and helps only slightly on acceleration And a few plastic bits replaced for aluminium here and there 990 chokeless ball bearing Carb Li-Fe 6.6v 4000mah Couple of Capacitors inline with power supply KillerBee etc. That's the jist of it really! So would be nice to meet some locals or can come join in elsewhere if anyone's about! Look forward to hearing from ya! KM Baja KM Baja KM Baja
  12. Hi everyone! Just wondering if there is anyone on here from Weymouth? I'm quite new to the area and I have no idea where I can take my cars? I have an XTM XLB with tarmac tires and a Traxxas Jato 3.3 so was looking for somewhere to accommodate for speed if possible. I just want to have a mess about somewhere like an open car park. I don't mind driving a little out of weymouth if someone knows a good place as i'd like to test out my XLB today, it's been a few years since I've run it and have just installed lots of new parts and want to test it out. If anyone's free they're welcome to join Thanks!
