  1. So you're saying if I give up all these things then I too, can buy an XMaxx..... **checks with the missus** YOU LIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  2. Mine are also bent from the last bash (not so much that I have to replace them)... it just happens on these cars eventually.
  3. Yeah I might fit it and give it hell today and just prey it works and I don't have to order more parts 😄 If it doesn't, I might redesign the whole bumper bracket out of a harder and stiffer TPU. I can call that, the maximum stiffener 🤪
  4. So i had the stiffener The full stiffener Now I have the big stiffener (name is growing on me) Don't be fooled into thinking this is a great print, it's rough as dogs, this is just the side that was on the bed... need to work on my TPU settings for this printer. I'm super confident in this one though, now that I have experienced a break, i think i have honed in on the issue.
  5. Yeah it was... don't need a lot of it right now, but I also had absolutely zero spares for the ET410, and there is a few things that are getting a bit long in the tooth for the MT. If i'm puttin an order in, I might aswell cover some near future basis. Guaranteed now that I have done this, it will be something completely different that breaks.
  6. Fixed my ET410 (new hinge pin and arm) and added a few extra option parts to move the receiver back to the front. There really wasnt a lot of damage to sort out to be honest, it was quick job.
  7. Mate, we really don't need the tribalism in these posts. I'm glad that you like your Arrma's as do many of us, but we have already had a couple of clean outs in this thread due to a load of unnecessary brand bashing. Just leave it out please. If you want to make a comparison to another brand in the sense of, "I wish Arrma did xxx like Corally do, their system is really good", or something like that, then great. What we don't need is a completely arbitrary divide between people who like one brand over the other. That's really not what this forum is about, if you're really set on behaving like that, then head over the Arrma Maniacs facebook group.
  8. i've been ripping my Granite about recently and have been pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is. Not as fast, and you dont get the same feeling of power as a lot of RC's, but where it lacks in that department, it makes up for in the daft fun factor. 3S the thing is a real weapon. I can't speak for the MT10, but for sure the 1/10 Arrmas make great little bashers and they're pretty easy to wrench on.
  9. I was looking at those when I was ordering bits the other day and had to spank myself when I added them to the cart... "NAUGHTY" I deleted them before I pressed go 😞 *checks* Yeah I definitely deleted them 😑
  10. ....but then you're trusting someone else to get it right. Sorry but I can't handle that 😄
  11. First day back on the 9-5 😭

My final day of my current 9-5, I've been WFH for the year and my new job is 100% back in the office, I'm dreading that part!

Yeah im still WFH... just earning a lot less than the good old pre-covid days 😞

Best of luck with the new job mate!

  12. Bet the chasssis still bends
  13. So now we just to figure out what it really is and buy that instead 😄
  14. I had an awesome bash today. Set up a ramp and then just sent cars round in circles going over it. MT410 took a pounding until the bumpers broke, may have also done a bulkhead in as the rear bumper pulled the screws out... hoping longer ones will give it a bit of extra life. Have to say, I'm actually happier with this thing running a Max 8 than I was the sensored ESC... @m4inbrain was right, but yeah... done with SkyRC for sure. The stiffener system clearly didnt work... so going to have to try again with that one. Kraton took a double hard extra pounding but I definitely had it overgeared. Don't know why I was running an 18T on a 1950KV motor 🤦🏼‍♂️ Should have been ~15T really. Motor got pretty hot, but it still flew like a bird. An old stock Arrma arm broke... got lolads of spares though. I think this might have been one that came on the car originally, as I have been using RPM for most of it's life. POS wing mount is an absolute boss though. There is no exaggeration when I recommend this guys parts, they really are excellent. Took everything I threw at it while all the other Arrma parts around it disintegrated... damn wheelie bar is useless anyway. Granite was a good laugh too, and I didnt break it... but my mate did 😄 just a rod end though, no big deal there. I did take some videos, so I have a bit of editing to do, but I'm rusty on that front having not touched any software for years
  15. I agree with Brian on the topic of the bulkheads... I'm struggling to think of anyone who has installed the Vitavon parts without removing them a couple of bashes later. People are often very loud about putting the shiney parts on, but quiet about taking them off... but I notice 😉 The hubs... not too sure... I don't actually have any issue with the stock ones though. I do use the Hot Racing pillow ball nuts though, not sure if that has done me any favours. Alloy centre diff mount I would say is worth it. The V4 and V5 and EXB parts are the same version with a slot in the top that the diff slides in. I actually thought the EXB was alloy there already but I guess not... not a huge difference to the upgrade but it's also not super expensive: https://badtouchbreakers.com/collections/kraton-6s/products/arrma-v4-6s-blx-differential-mount Will work fine.
  16. My bumper stiffeners didnt work haha... bumper completely destroyed, although this was the original one that came with the car and has already been through the wars... but I will tweak it more before I send it along 😄 The concept I think is solid, I just havent but the bracing in the right spot. I'll upload some vids + pics later
  17. I'm going back to the workshop today (also in Yorkshire) to set up a ramp and break all my remaining running cars. 😄
  18. I was broke before I broke my ET410 and now I'm triple broke.

Any shops in UK sell spares

Tekno parts are expensive, I bought a new bumper just for the upper brace earlier in the week and that was a small fortune

@turok007RPRC Distribution are the dealer in the UK. Top guys, really nice to deal with and very knowledgable if you need some assistance deciding/understanding what you're buying.

@.AJ. Yeah you can perhaps see why I decided to print the part that I lost from the centre diff mount. Don't think I can get away with printing an Arm... although that doesn't excuse me buying all the carbon fibre upgrade parts that just emptied my account. 🤪

Definitely could have designed and printed some of those... but the Enduro is getting my attention at the moment.

It's just a good thing that, in the most part, their parts are very durable and don't break much. The accident that took out the arm on my ET would have taken out any RC car... I was going full pelt, probably 40+ MPH and a wheel hit a breezeblock....

  19. No, I didn't. I hooked up the Max 8 to it and it runs fine on the bench though. Really CBA to open the damn thing up... I do actually have a spare Stator for it but... sigh... no...
  20. Not the most successful bash. Breeze block holding up the ramp - 1... tekno ET410 - 0 Looks like just the arm went though. Not the worst thing in the world... well it wouldnt be if I didnt have to tgo to RPRC to buy a replacement... I always end up significantly poorer than before I went onto the site when I buy stuff from there. The MT410 also failed me, the ESC went pop. It was strange, ran fine, did a jump, then it was cogging so I took the shell off and checking nothing was stuck in the drive line. It seemed clear so I gave it a blip and POP... 1 SkyRC ESC down. Not sure if there is perhaps something wrong with the motor, it siezed up and then the ESC drew too much current... unless that is the case, I'm done with SkyRC, thats the second of their ESCs which has gone pop for seemingly no reason. Got a Max8 and a Max 6 I can put in there so will be fine for the moment, even if I do really like running it sensored. Edit - The motor is absolutely fine, so yeah SKYRC can do one with their garbage ESCs.
  21. I did a re-design to try and even the load a little bit... might tweak it a touch more but I should just test it really. The "Full Stiffner" (Still working on that name) Included videos to show the difference it makes. 20210330_011752.mp4 20210330_011846.mp4
  22. @.AJ. - Made some "stiffeners" (I think the name needs work) for the MT bumpers. I havent tested them yet, and I'm hoping these will work as is, but I have an idea to improve them if I have to do more. They're basically just a soft plastic (TPU) and so they're still bouncy, just not excessively so. They should still absorb energy but should stop the plastic over extending and breaking.
  23. *looks in bank account* It appears I have a giant red hole where my bank account once was
