This looks cool, when you get it working properly with no problems I might be interested if the price is reasonable. Keep us updatedπŸ‘.
  2. The WR8 definitely gets my vote, it's a bad ass rally car.🀘 It's a keeper for sure.

Looks really good mate, you've done a wicked job on the whole car.πŸ‘

NiceπŸ‘.You will have to upload some footage, look forward to it😁.

Report back and let us know how you got on after you've run with them, always interested in how different shocks effect the performance of the WR8.πŸ‘

Have you used the rig with the shocks yet, and if so how do they perform, what do think of them, Any good?

Nice, parts are looking good.πŸ‘ What shocks are these Brandon and where did you obtain them?
  8. Could be why there's a delay in the next batch.
  9. Looks like Arrma have finally come up with a fix for the open diff problem in the EXB, they have given the sun gears proper support with shims that look up to the job (something they should of done in the first place).
  10. Got round to changing the fluid in the front diff of my Savage XS today, it now has 50k in both diffs. Just need some good weather now to see how it drives.
  11. πŸ‘It's always been a nice looking buggy, but why the name change, anyone know?
  12. Nothing that interesting, serviced the rear diff on my Savage XS. Bearings were still good, ring gear and pinion looked mint, cracked open the diff, cleaned it out and inspected internals, all good in there tooπŸ‘. Put it back together and filled with 50K, thought I'd give that a go this time. Just have to do the front diff now, when I find the time.
  13. I cancelled my pre-order for the Kraton EXB due to quality control issues, chances are the rear diff will explode and getting parts to fix it will be difficult at the moment. Shame Arrma messed up again, its becoming a habit with them!
  14. If you buy the bundle Modelsport are soldering the connectors onto the ESC for you and when buying the ESC/Motor combo on its own you can either do it yourself or get Modelsport to solder whatever connectors you want on to it for a few extra quid.
  15. Nice, handy little prize.πŸ‘ Good luck to all.
  16. Loving the videos, 5ive Be Bashing at its best! Respect, keep them coming. πŸ‘
  17. Switched out the stock SS 20 WR servo in my Savage XS as it died, replaced it with a Hpi SS 40 WP that I had kicking around, metal gears, higher torque and waterproof. Seems alot more responsive than the stock one, result. Was going to go with a alloy horn but was to long, hit the centre driveshaft, so had to use the stock plastic one.
  18. Nice to see the upgrades coming through for this rig, even if the fitment isn't quite perfect yet.
  19. A couple of my favourite shells, firstly my Hpi WR8 RX43 shell as I love the colour changing paint and the amount of detail. Then there's this Lambo with a simple white paint job, don't think you can go wrong with white always looks good imo, it doesn't have a home at the moment. Not sure what to do with it, been tucked away at the back of a cupboard for years after painting it.
  20. As those prices I could buy 3 of them for the price of a Hobbywing 4985.πŸ‘
  21. Yeah only found them coming from US as well and they seem to be on backorder too. I was thinking they might be as do look identical, but wasn't sure.
  22. Looking at the individual parts list on Arrmas website they have 7075 T6 EXB chassis, towers and braces for the entire 6s line of vehicles. So I'm guessing they will eventually release EXB rollers for all of them.
  23. Noticed RC Dude81 and Duperbash were both using Hobbystar 4092's in there videos, it's just Eric was running the 1480kv and Rich the 1730kv. What do we reckon use the lower kv and gear up and hope for cooler running if going down this route? Where is the best place to purchase these motors when living in the UK? I really can't justify the Castle 1717 1650kv price tag, to rich for me. Not when you can get a Max6 and motor for the same price.
  24. Yeah I've noticed a few people have commented that the 4985 runs hot in the 6s line of vehicles if you don't get the gearing spot on for the terrain you're driving on. Cheers I will take a look at the HS4092 option as I can't find the Max6 4985 combo in stock anywhere in the UK at present anyway.πŸ‘
