  1. Czech Republic anytime soon? I would take one set
  2. Yeah, I got other cars to play with so not big deal but sure I’d like to see this one finally running, hopefully soon 🙏 yours looks great and I’m glad you took the risk and paint it instead of decals, once finished it’ll look even better 👍
  3. it's really about tolerances and quality control, plenty of motors such as from Lehner, TP power etc which can withstand +40K rpm without much troubles and than not so good which fails even with 30K rpm, some brands aren't even offering higher revs because they know their motors won't survive I've seen Leopard motors failing but mainly due to one offs quality control rather than build or material quality as such so why limiting your motor kv if it's within the voltage range? not saying your is just as general comment So far I found basic rule, max voltage minus 20% is my limiting factor no matter kv i.e. if motor is capable of working with max 60V (14S) I know it'll be safe to run it on 50V (12S) , kv is just difference between max voltage and max rpm
  4. Looks good I think 15 minutes is reasonable, what’s the battery mah?
  5. Which reminds me I should contact my personal painting agency 😂 and order some paint job for my XS5 shell👍
  6. Yeah, can’t wait to see mine running, it’s nearly a year since I’ve bought it and all I’ve seen so far is bunch of parts laying around my desk and shelf 😭😂
  7. some screws, batteries and upgrade parts from Germany, carbon fiber from Austria, all ordered Monday evening and delivered this morning, excellent service 👍
  8. I would assume that the bottom plate is the same like for smaller motor? if not I would assume you can drill new holes? otherwise new motor mount and rear holder/clamp would cost you only 60EUR?
  9. not aware of any unless you're willing to wait 4-6 weeks like I did, my rear mount is still on the way... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000083651136.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000060.3.3f361a7aljRIir&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller&scm=1007.14977.165002.0&scm_id=1007.14977.165002.0&scm-url=1007.14977.165002.0&pvid=d3878a4f-81ce-4c72-94e3-0800b43c84e9&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller,scm-url:1007.14977.165002.0,pvid:d3878a4f-81ce-4c72-94e3-0800b43c84e9,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%235_668%23808%235965%23476_668%23888%233325%2314_668%232846%238107%2392_668%232717%237559%2347 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33048431565.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3ad857faULCrtM&algo_pvid=aca6c1fa-9ea8-4616-a442-89f6c3cdcb87&algo_expid=aca6c1fa-9ea8-4616-a442-89f6c3cdcb87-4&btsid=0ab6fa8115900516948503215e6ad0&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_
  10. You can try higher punch setting and see if you like it more but I would assume 12S pack will fix it
  11. Nothing wrong with Leopard except with this one you are limited to 10S, if it’s OK for you than no brainer 👍
  12. Lehner selling directly through their shop but yeah that's expensive affair TP power is another option for 250£ but also couple of weeks waiting time
  13. SSS56104/790KV/9D - 14000 Watt...... that's 1kw per 1kg, more than Bugatti Chiron
  14. don't need to, Germans have everything 😂 https://www.tfl-hobby.de/Motore--Halter--usw-/Brushless/TFL-56-mm/56104/ but yeah, if you wanna stick to 10S Leopard is adequate, just checked it and it's v.2 👍
  15. V2 has different fins, I would need to check online how they look, leopard would be my pick out of those two but in general I would take SSS any time over those 2, even over the castle/x-team which is hard to source unless you know someone in China where they are sold , what’s the shaft lenght you need, 20 or 25mm?
  16. Kukynas

    Sold

    Sold elsewhere
  17. Shame I just sold the SSS motor for £70, nothing against ZTW motor but if I’m you I would be looking for 12S capable, in case of Leopard make sure it’s version 2 and as well 12S capable, more rpm available and lower current needed
  18. I think you can raise it by 10-20mm with either or combination of different C-hubs position, different shock mounting position and preloading the springs yeah I need to use different toe blocks for rear as well, I don't need such toeing for rear axle... shock springs are like this as standard, few mm shorter than the shock body allow, don't know why is that (combination of stiffness and overall suspension travel maybe ?) but still enough travel for on-road or rally duties, basically shock shafts are shorter than fully compressed springs so even if the springs are longer you would be limited be available shafts length travel haha, of course , decided on livery? the one we were talking about? cheers, not quite handy must say otherwise didn't need to rework it 3x , yeah I'm using respirator
  19. two sets of radios, servos and bearing kits for my upcoming projects...
  20. Don’t know about A-MT arms and hinge pins but so far I haven’t had any troubles with Helion version of this car and I can’t say I was specifically gentle to it, some owners reported that swapping arms from Helion solved that problem and if we consider the cost it shouldn’t be an issue... Sure we should also consider price of the car and that it’s not on other expensive cars level but I hope nobody expecting it to be for 250 quid
  21. servo tray and servos installed, steering assembly as well but I ran out of 5mm screws and carbon fiber so need to wait for delivery to be able to continue
  22. out of those 2 I would take MIP, they tend to have good reputation but for my needs inclomplete set I’m using EDS racing made from spring steel, very sharp similar to MIP, handle have a good grip, so far happy with them https://www.modelsport.co.uk/eds-racing-products-4-piece-allen-driver-set-1-5-2-0-2-5-3-0mm-/rc-car-products/29674 in case of complete set even for large scale than this https://www.modelsport.co.uk/eds-racing-products-6-piece-allen-driver-set-1-5-2-0-2-5-3-0-4-0-5-0mm-/rc-car-products/29675
