  1. The Bronco got it this time... https://youtube.com/shorts/-KXQUXpFZtk?si=VxYWeogzGtB9vm58
  2. 1.9 tyres and beadlocks from Injora. 9imod 55kg servo. Bruce and Jeff from aliexpress.
  3. Thanks mate 👍 It's one of the badgers that visits.
  4. Finally tested out some of the new sections of my crawler course. Not all the cement is dry enough. Will need a couple of little tweaks but pretty good. I'm testing the tarantula with 64mm tyres and then I'm going to try the 70mm. The Bronco is getting a go, so durability testing on that body.
  5. Probably could have been more careful... Testing out the new bits on my crawler course.
  6. Fitted the lay down servo on my tarantula. Had to bend the plastic frame and add a couple of spacers. I have overdrive front and underdrive rear on the tarantula. It's just for crawling so I think it's worth having. The only downside is side slopes. It will kick the rear out at little.
  7. @Gaz! That colour looks mint 👍. Never thought I'd like a brown truck.
  8. @walkbythesea my Trx4 defender is fairly old I got when they first came out. Same radio gear upto current trx4 as far as I'm aware. I have a radiolink rc6gs V2 and rc8x and both can do cruise control. You can lock diffs independently, if you have enough spare channels.
  9. Very cool mate👍. Scx10 ii is a capable truck. And welcome to the forum.
  10. My injora tarantula Trx4m. Can't call it Traxxas because there isn't one traxxas part on it. This thing is a little spider, I love it.
  11. I've got a few injora hard bodies Very good value for money.
  12. The crawler course is looking pretty good. This is not all of it. The cement is dry enough to get a go hopefully before the rain starts.
  13. Vote for trx4 from me. Nice kit to build. I really like the lockable diffs. Turns on a penny when open. I like seeing how far I can drive it with the diffs open controlling wheel spin with throttle. Very capable trucks. And I love the clipless bodies.
  14. I'm going to get a 32% underdrive gearset. The 59% is a bit much. I've not removed a pinion from the stock motor. Warm it up, it should come off.
  15. Get the crawler gears from Injora, they come with metal pinion. https://www.injora.com/products/injora-overdrive-underdrive-stainless-steel-transmission-gears-for-1-18-trx4m I have the 59% underdrive (way better for crawling over stock ratio). They now do a 32% underdrive, that maybe better if you want to do some trail driving. But I haven't tried that one so couldn't honestly say. I run my bronco for a while with the plastic pinion. Only reason I changed it was motor swap. The injora motor comes with a stainless pinion.
  16. @Stormbringer @Lone-wolf My missus doesn't mind at all. She encourages me if anything. Can't wait to try it out. Got to wait for the cement to dry. Hopefully the badgers won't trash it when they arrive later. It's definitely strong enough for the crawlers. I know this because the badgers walk all over it.
  17. Adding more to my crawler course. Mixing cement, never fun.
  18. It is seriously strong. Great for RC's 👍
  19. Looks good. I use the hycote stuff, I've had quite good results.
  20. Looks brilliant @.AJ.👍 love the matt black. Did you paint the black on the inside or outside?
