  1. This is a Proline Chevy C10 for a Traxxas slash. Fits rather well. And is a lot lighter than the stock trx4 Defender body.
  2. I have done exactly the same a few month's back. Destroyed one of my favorite ESC's. It's gutting.
  3. Painted the Yeti Baja bug body. No decals just yet.
  4. Lee quarry is quite a good bashing spot. Parking at the bottom just off the main road. Just a bit of a walk up the hill, but worth it. Anyone been up recently?
  5. A few pictures of my SCX10. In the garden on the crawler course.
  6. @.AJ. Just seen the specs on that servo. It is a beast!
  7. Light brown is fine. You want to be worried when the plug is white with chunks missing.
  8. Far better to run foam air filters if running off road. If you're unsure it's lean. Get the truck warm give it a good blast and then check the colour of your spark plug. It's always worth trying this with either a new or clean plug. It's one of the methods I use to check the fueling on my KTM two stroke.
  9. My front room window is never clean for long. You should see my car!
  10. Traxxas Summit 1/10 Brushed motor Titan 775 EVX-2 ESC fitted with twin deans connectors. £30 posted
  11. Are the HPI diff gears stronger. Or is it due to parts availability?
  12. My First Disco. 1992 200 TDI . I Tortured that poor thing. Did loads of 4x4 play days, green laning and a few RTV comps. The pictures is when it got stuck in the lake at Cowm leisure. In the middle of winter, crap idea.
  13. I did have a 5 B. Sold that an got an MCD (Sold that to). Day and night difference between those two.
  14. I think I'll take your advice on that one. makes sense
  15. @Oh How Original I have just rebuilt my ftx outlaw and put 100k in the front. i also run the rear locker. That has made a huge difference, a lot more resistance in the diff. so i was thinking try the same in the Yeti. I do run quite a lot on loose ground and it seems to help to.
  16. @tolk83 I agree 100%. It took me ages and was a pain. But they do look cool. I did debate not using the internal cage and use rear body posts.
  17. You cant really see much of the course. But it's like a rock crawl section of the King of hammers. Metal parts of your truck make authentic grinding and scraping noises. It's real easy to get wedged. And the front diff on the Yeti feels very open. But it will stop it looking like a shelf queen quite quick, and that's good. I like the Raptor bodies, might have to pick one up.
  18. Cut out the V DUB Baja beetle body for the Yeti. Still haven't decided on colour yet. But I'm thinking a Herbie style paint scheme with the two stripes down the side. You can see a bit of my crawler course in the back ground. Definitely not the Yeti's forte.
