  1. You could just give it all a good run down an paint on top of original paint!! I would stick with paint brand that was used the first time round to stop any reactions!? Powder coat won't work on plastic as it uses static elec to make paint stick!! Also needs to be cooked on for 10 mins at 200 degree's Celsius so would melt shell Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  2. Unfortunately there not kits but look ok for little rig to blast round the back garden Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk

  4. Well I don't have a charisma so can't comment I do have a scx10 an a hobao dc1 an I prefer my hobao but I do have two of them controllers them batteries and charger there all good!! Would defo find a 1080 hobbywing ESC and a waterproof servo!! If you go with a kit don't forget you will need paint for body! An if kit don't come with bearings I would upgrade Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  5. Dude I kinda like the orange!! But if you dont you could either try stripping paint or paint outside of shell!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  6. Think most RC controllers come with a lanyard connection!! Could hook it up by that!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk

  11. I use vallejo model paints an then clear coat in tamiya laquer!! I tried using the tamiya mini pots an mixing with thinner etc but I struggle to get mix correct!! The vallejo paints just need a little thinner an work real well!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  12. Nice I like mine it's quite a capable rig! Mines looking little different now though Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  13. Well spose everyone does things different ways it just seemed a excessive amount of paint to me!! I have been painting RC shells for over 20 years and have painted shells for other people an never used that many cans on one body!! Not even a hardbody but like I said we all do things differently! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  14. You would really use 8 tins of spray to do one shell that seems rather a lot!! I only used 3 when I sprayed my big crawler shell!! Well technically 2 1/2 cause I only used a little ps58 Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  15. I like my madbull!! I don't run brush less or lipo hobby wing 1060 an hpi 15t on a NiMH an it's took a kicking!! Only thing I changed were shocks!!an bearings!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk

  21. Not a Toyota!! That would be nice for a change!! I do like the ford raptor an would probably bolt it to the new vanquish chassis!! Or the new cross RC kr4 Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  22. I locked it out cause don't really use an to stop my kids just messing with it! It's a nice rig but it's a scale crawler were as mauler R1 are proper more competition replicas!some people cut RC hardbodys to allow for axle movement more scale trucks have limited movement in there axles but are still just as much fun trying to get up the rocks!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  23. The R1 an scout have loads more flex they are copies of larger vehicles which are customade to do one job!! My hobao has limited movement cause of that big fat body on top! So it will still crawl it's way up a hill or rock but not as easy as a proper crawler!! An I locked out 1st gear cause I never really use it!! An I can just adjust throttle on controller Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  24. I have a.hobao dc1 it's classed as more of a trail truck!! Unsure why ! As it's pretty much identical to all the other rigs out there!! It's not a bad bit of kit!! I have locked mine into 2nd gear Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
  25. Think Dyna head can be front and rear steering Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
